Abe's Birthday

Abe turned two last week. Although he may not have actually understand the concept of birthday, he liked all the attention and totally loved the idea of getting toys for no reason. We had a train themed birthday party. It was fun, but Abe seems to think his parents are a bit crazy.

Ready for Halloween

This year for Halloween we decided to be the zoo. For those of you who can't tell--Abe is a giraffe, Little one is a leopard, LJ is a ladybug, and Tall J is the zoo keeper. (I'm still working on the cute name thing.)

Some are saying she's a red head... judge for yourself

She was born at 11:00 pm on 9/7/2010. She decided to come on her own rather than being induced to come the next day. We arrived at the hospital at about 9:30. While we were checking in, Mom wasn't showing much pain, so the nurses were very surpised to see that she was ready to go just as soon as she arrived.
Her special talent, so far, is being born with a very round head... the doctor said her head was the same shape as a c-section head would be.
Here are some pictures:

Here is Abey's trip to the Ogden Children's Museum and Treehouse

J's trip to Bear Lake - 4th of July 2010

Here is a simulated picture of Abey in the raft. It had to be simulated because father J forgot the camera. Just pretend that Abey is surrounded by clear blue water.

The far side of lake had these steep snow fields. We couldn't, or wouldn't turn back, so we just went across.

Taylor Grove Lake--the white stuff is ice.

Our campsite at Monte Cristo, perhaps you can't tell but the campsite wasn't officially opened yet. This meant no water and no bathrooms, sort of.
Here are some pictures and a movie from our recent vacation. We spent the night at Monte Cristo campground, near Randolph. It was a nice quiet little spot, except for the local teenagers who came up in the middle of the night to play loud music and shot guns. On our way home, we drove past Bear Lake and through Logan Canyon. The movie is from Taylor Grove Lake.

Enjoy!

We made this little compilation video for family

At first we were all into masterful editing techniques - but that took too long so we just threw this one together. Enjoy!
